TV PILOT (The Neapolitan)

Adapted for television by longtime showrunner and writer Bob Burris, THE NEAPOLITAN is an hour-long mix of comedy and drama unfolding in the lush setting of Naples, Florida. SON Studios and Out of Order Studios shot the pilot on location in Naples in late October 2017, in the shadow of Hurricane Irma’s aftermath.  The project is based on The Neapolitan Series novellas by Rebeca Seitz.

Through the generous spirit of Neapolitans – nearly 100 of whom came out to help with the show as extras – SON Studios managed to keep the budget low and the quality high. Thank you, Naples! Please check out the graphic below to see the direct economic impact of this production. Keep in mind that these numbers only reflect direct spend of the production, not additional revenues brought to town via crew and cast members’ non-production expenditures.

The show is now in post-production with a projected completion date of December 31, 2017.
